Simple Tips for a Healthy and Blemish free skin

Nowadays, men have to take good care of their face as much as girls do. In the Part 2 of "Keeping your Face Fresh and Invigorated for Men" I'll share with you what to do to and not to to avoid skin blemishes. Hope this helps!

1. "A healthy and fit body is a healthy face!" -Working out, attending Yoga Sessions, going to gyms etc. will greatly help in making your face healthy too you know? So why don't you start by giving me 20 push-ups now!?

2. "I'm a man, I eat everything!" -Yeah...this one is true, even a half eaten pizza on a coffee table will still be our interest huh? But do you know that eating healthy foods and avoiding (or limiting the consumptions of) Oily and Spicy foods will help preventing acne breakouts (since everyone is different, one can eat as much oily food he wants while the other can't resist oily foods, like me I'm Peanut intolerant/allergic so eating too much will cause pimples and such.)

3. "I love party! Staying up late, getting drunk, go home and sleep!" -Yeah... parties, nothing is better than partying all night and rest couple of hours and start all over again. But our skin has its limitations too and it is important to at least clean or wipe your face with damp cloth (but not encouraged to do that, cleaning is better). Party dusts, smokes not only causes blemishes but also allergic reactions too!

4. "Those pesky people at work makes me crazy!" -Chill out! Stress out and relax! Scientifically speaking, frowning and such will make you look older because you'll be using to much facial muscles thus making your face soggy and...old. So smile and rest then go back.

5. "Drink 8-12 glasses of water a day." -I cannot stress this anymore. Ever since 1st grade out teachers already telling us to drink water like 8 to 12 glasses to clean our system, which is true and it also helps hydrate our face making our face hydrated and less oilier.

6. "Bloodletting for a cleaner face?!" -Yes, you read it right! Some people who have pimply skins on face and/or back probably have an overused/dirty blood so bloodletting will help you out. Don't worry your the blood lost will be replaced by a newer one thus making your blood cleaner! Not only you made your self cleaner but also you've helped someone else too!

7. "Make your face free from.anything!" -Touching your face, making your hair touch your face will contribute in making your skin pimply. How come? You hands probably touched a lot of things gathering lots of unseeable germs and making your hands pass all the germs and bacterias on your face (didn't you saw the Lysol Bleach Commercial?). My hair what about it? Our hair can also be dirtied by dusts, pollution and oil (and hair wax/cream/gel etc.)

Keeping your Face Fresh and Invigorated. For Men and Women

Are you always stressed out from your work? Exposed on dusts and pollution? Sleeping late because of your homeworks and nightlife? Well, chances are you are not paying enough care to your skin.

In this articles, I'll share with you on how to keep your skin fresh, a skin care regimen that will solve your acne problems.

You'll need:
Facial Foam - Your Primary cleanser. Choosing a cleanser may vary depending on your need. There are several choices to choose; from Whitening foams, for Oily skin types, Dry and for Normal skin types. Choose a facial foam that is appropriate for your skin type.

In using a cleanser, rub it in circular motion without exerting too much force, pressing it too hard may cause drying out and redness to your face.

Quick Note! As for my usage, I use facial foam whenever I get oily and sweaty, never let oil and sweat (and dust) get mixed up and let it dry on your face. This will cause pimples to grow, and it will be harder to stop.Prevention is the  key for a blemish free skin.

Exfoliator - The skin renewer. Exfoliator is your best bet for smooth skin, since there are a lot to choose from, it may be hard for you to choose which one to pick. Bars, Creams and Pastes. For me, I personally choose Paste like exfoliants rather than bars and creams because I always liked the rocky texture on the paste. Exfoliators are rocky bar/paste that is used to lift dead skin cells, unclogs and cleans pores, minimizes pores and smoothens face.

In applying an exfoliant first moisten your face, just sprinkle it with water but not to much. Gently rub the paste through your face in circular motion from the forehead to jawbone (or neck if wanted) but never the eye area, exfoliating the skin in the eye area will cause blackening in he eye area since eye skin has the thinnest skin layering.

Quick Note! In choosing an exfoliator, read first. Never use a body exfoliant or something that says "for Face and Body." Body exfoliant is harsh if applied on face causing it to dry and paper textured.

Toner / Astringent - Ah, okay. I always wondered what is the difference of Toners and Astringents and now I know. A Toner is a liquid applied on the skin to reduce oiliness and improves its condition while an astringent causes contraction of skin cells thus making pores less visible and tighter, smaller and finer.

In applying a toner/astringent, you can either use your fingers or a cotton and dab it on your face, take note, in using a toner/astringent never press to hard, toner/astringent is never the same as a facial foam that lifts oil and dirt but instead, they protect your skin by adding an additional layer in your skin acting like a shield keeping dusts at bay. Never also use astringent/toner before using a facial cleanser/foam.

Moisturizer - Moisturizers are...moisturizers! It keeps skin hydrated and cool. In choosing one, choose a Water-based Moisturizer (Gel) if you have am oily skin and use Cream Moisturizer if you have a Dry skin, but what if I have a normal skin, what should I use? I suggest the Gel type then.

Quick Note! Personally I use Loreal Men Expert Pure and Matte Hydrating Gel for it also soothes razor burns and it is cool on the skin! Its so light you will not even feel any moist on your face and it also holds oil! Also, use moisturizers whenever possible, not only in winter but also in hot dry summer but never use it if your going to go jogging or any sweaty places.
