Limitless (2011)

Limitless by Neil Burger, at first I thought was a movie of people with Superpowers but I guess I as wrong. This movie, the moment it started and for the first 10 minutes everything was boring. I'd best say that this movie was unfulfilling, crappy and dull. The way the movie is being narrated is dull, and I was lucky Ihave abreado nmy hand to eat out or else I would have walked out of the theathre.

Bottom line, the movie is a about people who use Drugs to get things done, a pill that enhances brain activity at 100% capacity; well that is nifty! No biggie here but for me, the movie supposedly be better and all hyped up if they only made the narration more lively and exciting.. As i perceived, I really liked the story, a brain pill? How I wished that they could've expand and made the narration much better no?

Honestly, I kind of want to have those pills for myself, think of the possibilities huh?

Fright Night (2011)

Fright Night, by so far the lamer (not the lamest) vampire movie I've seen. I meant not to be harsh but hey, this movie kept me waiting for something and for the first 30-40 minutes the whole movie was dull and lots of talking and I don't even know how did IMDB gave this a 6.8 rating? Well anyway at least Fright Night kept my occupied though.

The whole movie for me was like...a so-so. Also why is it in genre of Comedy? Is this a Parody movie? Why isn't this movie funny is this is a Comedy movie? Am I the only one who took this movie seriously?

Bottom line, it sucks like Twilight (no hard feelings people). Even though I haven't watched the original 1985 movie I guess my thoughts would have been still , the same even if I watched it. Also, the movie didn't tell what is that Artifact/Pedestal thingy that Charley took? And also, to tell you is this movie is trying to portray a Horror scene...Hell NO! I mean look at the movie poster! HE'S THE VAMPIRE? How can you get scared in front of him exactly? You tell me. You might be offering yourself to him instead of running away!

I really LOLed when I saw this movie poster haha.

Priest (2011)

Priest by Scott Charles Stewart is a post-apocalyptic vampire movie taken where the Church rules and its laws are absolute. Damn I really hate movies with such theme and that's why I love watching them.

For me, the movie is a not so really good. Everything seemed to happen so much and I totally disliked the story. Also what about these hideous creatures with no eyes? Vampires too? Also what about this Hicks guy do? If I know better I would thing that this guy is just an extra, he barely do anything that reflects the story! Except of course for the big kiss at the ending but that doesn't makes any sense! Also added to my expectation tot his movie, I was like expecting that the Priest would destroy the church but it didn't happen.

Overall, not really worth a watch, I don't even care if this is in 3D for the only 3D scene I saw was the cross shuriken being tossed again and again. Also, I was expecting more of action scenes, blood baths and such but this, its more like having to watch movie full of talking. At the end, I was left crippled, bored, disappointed and hungry for more; and trust me, I've seen some other vampire movies and they aren't dull like this one.

Don't be Afraid of the Dark (2010)

This movie, Don't be Afraid of the Dark by Troy Nixey before watching this, I've put a lot of expectations in this. I mean, Sheez I have high hope that this movie would be like super scary and such but then, boom. Crappy.

I didn't liked it, I think the movie that take people's body is much better (I forgot what the Title is). You see, first thing the film began to roll, it's like...well kinda good. Teeth being sacrificed and such and I began to bore at the near middle part; you know, lots of talking and stuff and at the middle part where these "creatures" began to appear, I was dismayed of what I've seen. I was like expecting scarier stuff or even just crippling shadows and grabs you, that is scary but spider like rats? Well I don't know.

Poor lighting, lots of talking, dull moments, UNscary creatures and goofy scenes, and to think of the ending, how I just wished that the guy was there at the basement instead than to the girl. The father didn't do much in the movie after all!

For me, I didn't liked it but then again I thought that not everyone has the same taste huh? I only managed to see this movie for IMDB gave a 6.1 rating so I thought, Hey might as well give this a try and then poof. Crap.

The Caller (2011)

The Caller is said to be a Mysterious-Thrilling movie directed by Matthew Parkhill
which is indeed left me thrilled and confused due to the "mystery part." Frankly I got bored watching this one, the lighting are just so dim, the camera movements makes me dizzy and the swapping of scenes are just too fast I can see what they're afraid of (especially the corpse on the pantry and the finger fell out of the buried handkerchief)

I really appreciate this movie of it has a very distinct plot, where the past calls the present and the present messes wit the past and now the past haunts her by destroying the past making the present worse for her. Much like of a Frequency movie but instead an old hag trying to kill an innocent woman are the main characters here.

As I said earlier, I got tired form watching some scenes (really!) but thank god the middle-ending scenes were good so I got woken up. The ending is unsatisfying probably left me hanging.

Bottom line, nice movie, bad...uuh unsatisfying directing well, If there's gonna be a sequel I hope they make it better...if there's gonna be, that's the question. =D

Hmm.never given a 2 star before but hey, I guess every people have different taste huh?
