The Eye (2008)

The Eye by David Moreau & Xavier Palud is a Thrilling Suspense movie, a remake of a Hong Kong movie Gin Gwai. The movie is great I could tell you that but if you hate waiting I'd say that his is not the type of movie you should watch. The Eye is a story of Sydney who is blind since her childhood and soon after few years an Eye Transplant was made making her see the world...and the world she shouldn't be seeing.

I liked this movie because of the story, although I didn't watched the original movie, I can say that the movie was executed nicely. The black spirits gave me goosebumps (making me look behind me! creepy!).

What move I like on this movie is the introduction, its like, Whoa...she's blind but she managed to halt the guy from crashing on the Bus! I find it really cool. So, overall, a really nice movie nothing to hate; and by gauging the meter, I find it just a little higher than normal. Not that bad.

Conan the Barbarian (2011)

Conan the Barbarian is a really nice Fantasy, Action, Adventure movie even though the story is almost worn out due to the typical "Burn the Village scenario killing all inhabitants but fails to kill one and then the sole survivor avenges his tribe and saving the world from a prophesied doom from an evil warlock and the hero will not be getting girl." scenario but hey that doesn't mean that the movie is bad, its great! I enjoyed the movie, quite entertaining, the gore level is nice, bloody; the special effects used is nice too! The Sand Men are really cool, as if they're diving on water.  ---Oh wait, Conan the Barbarian IS a remake of the 1982 movie of the same title! No wonder I find the story familiar. *sigh*

Overall, the movie is great from the start 'til end and I'm expecting a sequel to this movie. Also, whoa, Jason Momoa is Hot! He looks like Chris Hemsworth a little. Marique was really creepy, she's like...creepy! Like a hardcore metal vocalist Hahaha.

Flypaper (2011)

The most Pathetic yet the most fascinating Bank Robbery I've ever seen! And yet I liked it for it. Very unique story, unpredictable plot...GREAT!
The moment the movie reel I thought that this movie is gonna suck and yes it did BUT tell you this, all the sudden events made my brains work and God, It's like a crime scene in my brain trying to point out who's the Mastermind. I love it, I really do, although the movie sucked on the first half, the second half that is where you're going to think what's really happening and tell you this, I made all the people suspects.

The movie is quite weird at the start and this guy Tripp is like an omniscient! What are you? Have you taken some pills from Limitless or something? Haha. This guy Tripp is really funny by the way.

Bottom line, Superb, remarkable movie. So if you want to have some Crime to solve, give this movie a try I bet you'll find this movie Great too!

The Change Up (2011)

Watching The Change Up was totally really really GREAT. TheChange Up by David Dobkin reminds me of the movie It’s a Boy and Girl Thing but of course, this one is truly fantastic.

A story of a workaholic man and a happy-go-lucky get t switch bodies and now they have to fix things through only to find themselves trapped on their dream bodies. --> I mean really? "Trapped?" in Ryan Reynold's body? I would really give a damn just to be in their position...ehem...ughh where was I, oh (got carried away), body-swapping comedies really doesn't fail to make me giggle and laugh hard.

I really enjoyed this movie, Loved it. The roles perfectly fits them both for I have always seen Jason Bateman in a serious, family guy type in movies and also Ryan Reynolds from a superhero, charismatic, carefree man on screen, they are both perfect for the character.

On film, I find it really good, although the movie uses a predictable storyline (if you watch body swapping films), I tell you this one will not fail to tickle your funny bones, I for one have totally enjoyed it.

Bottom line, it is been said, just perfect. it's not just a comedy movie, but a really great moving story too!

127 Hours (2010)

A Real Jubilant movie, considering that this is a True Story, 127 Hours is one of a crazy movie I've ever watched. God I swear that I am so amazed on him, doing extraordinary things just to survive and I tell you you wouldn't want to be in his place.

127 Hours is an autobiography of Aaron Raltson characterized by James Franco as an adventurous Mountain Climber and Canyoneer who got his arm stuck on a boulder for 127 Hours.

My thoughts on this movie is that at first, I thought this movie was like boring and stuff, but again, I''m wrong. This movie is TERRIBLY TERRIBLE, Sad and Dreadful in way that the movie is really really great. I can't just imagine myself being in that situation and by just thinking of makes me chill and create goosebumps; what happened to Aaron is really REALLY extreme.

Actually until now I couldn't take off Aaron out of my head, just thinking of him stuck in that place, alone and deserted makes me awe

Overall, I must say; this movie is a Top notch, well explained, well narrated in a convenient way, and its just plain perfect. Magnificent!

Comment, I totally love how the movie ends, I do wonder what happened to him after the accident?

Your Highness (2011)

Your Highness by David Gordon Green is a Fantasy movie set on a medieval time where a Lazy Prince Thadeous embarks on his first journey to save his brother's Maiden.

Gosh, I didn't expect this movie will be this something, its not cheesy, not boring and best of all it is original; it has its own story, own characters etc. I liked this movie yes. The vulgarity of words made me laugh and the characters suit then really good, like James Franco as Fabious, a handsome, most-admired prince, and his' princely actions really suit his role very well and also Thadeous which is the exact opposite of Fabious is really hilarious.

Bottom line, is is indeed a magnificent movie and (I think) the rating on IMDB doesn't justify the movie fit. This movie is great and a really worth a watch, its entertaining, really funny and it's medieval!

It's Fun, bloody, bold and sexy!

My OJT Experience

On the Job Training or OJT for short is a required training for college students to know and feel how is it look like being in that situation minus the punishment when you something goofy: Salary Deduction.

For me, it'll be few more days before my OJT and I'm wondering what Company should I join to? And since I'm a management student I'm supposed to go where Offices and cubicles exists, doing paperwork as expected, doing marquees on PowerPoint, encode stuff you know just thinking of it makes me real sad, I mean are those are the kind of stuff I'm going to do all day?

Honestly I have no idea what this OJT really works maybe it'll surprise me, and you know what I think? I'm thinking of how about go to a military barracks, become an intelligence employee of you know, some government organization like in the movie Thor. Hahaha I'd love that. Handling confidential files, data, projects and stuff but unfortunately for me, I have to be first enrolled at a military academy before I could go waltz in a Military Fort. Bummer.

How about you? What do you think? I'll update you more on the day coming okay? This is far I I can go, Lets see what's gonna happen to me.

Date Night (2010)

Date Night by Shawn Levy, so far, the Craziest Romantic, Comedy, Action, Drama, Romance movie I have ever seen

This movie has really a lot to offer you guys, the scenes come unexpected and you'll end up being surprised on the outcome, the movie is nice, the story is great and a Comedy movie with Tina Fey + Steve Carell = Fantastic. I simply just love the movie for its really funny, made me laugh a lot. the movie is all packed up even in the credits you will not stop laughing. Actually I kind of like the credits too, weird.

The movie and story itself is just crumpled and mixed with nonsense which turns out to be a really funny yet sensible movie? Funny thinking of it, that they only wanted a simple night out date at the city which turns out to be a really whacked and crazy night and giving their life at stake, just, whoa.

Tina Fey is such a wonderful actress, and Steve too. I can't help to notice but did you too thought that Tina Fey was imitating Lois Griffin form The Family Guy at the credits?

Monte Carlo (2011)

Monte Carlo, as the title says, the movie took place there. I totally love the movie, not only because Selena was the main character but also because I totally love the the environment, the place, the ambiance, the spirit, its so authentic, so great. Monte Carlo made me giggle most of the time I just don't know why. Everything was great, well polished, AWESOME!
"Superb, funny, exciting, overall I just have to say the this one is the BEST Chick flick movie I've seen."
Bottom line, the movie is I don't want to repeat my self but here it is, the movie great, and if you like chick flicks, you'll totally enjoy this movie like I do. And after watching this movie, I thought of hmmm, what If I go to Monte Carlo too? And maybe find a spoiled heir that looks like me too! HAHA! Okay dream on. Also, for some reason, this movie reminds me Mr. Bean's Holiday, funny for there are resemblances.

Zombie Diaries 2: World of the Dead (2011)

First of all, Zombie Diaries 2: World of the Dead is stupid although I get the point of the movie, a post apocalyptic where zombies are not the only a threat to humanity but also bandits. Well, why did I say stupid? Because the movie is really unconvincing as if this they're just doing their rehearsal to the movie. Also the zombies, Zombies are not like the creatures from Descent where they  can't sense you, and I must say they probably they must've read the Book from Max Brooks first.
The acting was a little goofy, the lighting is stupid although I know that they are using the Found-Footage effect they must have paid some attention to the lighting too. The sound effect is inappropriate in most of the scenes like the wind blowing SFX inside a walled house pathetic. The camera constantly "blurs" in which the movie became more and more annoying.
Bottom line, I didn't even know how did this movie get into the big screen and I am not saying as a hater for I love zombie movies but this is just...wrong. I tell you, stay away from this movie. Not worth a watch at all. Also, not in question the authority of the rater,
"A Slaughterhouse of Horror, Bloody and Terrifying"
How I wished there is a scene where its bloody and terrifying but unfortunately NONE! And for the record, I only watched this movie because I though this movie was connected to George Romero's Diary of the Dead.

30 Minutes or Less (2011)

30 Minutes or Less by Ruben Fleischer is an action comedy starring Jesse Eisenberg. Totally, my expectation on this movie was like whoa! Skyrocket, well because of The Social Network  and Zombieland. Truly the movie was indeed fascinating, funny and well great but not too great; just right.

Over all, the movie was nice, with some dull part and wrong selection of sound tracks especially the entrance of film and on the run part. Its not boring, just dull and with a little tweak overall, the movie is fine. I really liked Jesse Eisenberg's movies but this one kind of makes me sad to rate. Anyhow, the movie is watchable just don't expect something big.

The Tempest (2010)

The Tempest by Julie Taymor is said to be listed in a comedy drama genre by IMDB but I think I have to disagree (a bit) in it. The Tempest is originally an epic play of William Shakespeare translated rendered by Julie Taymor from pages to the big screen. So far, I've enjoyed the movie, thanks to the subtitles I've found on the Internet, watching this movie  was a no hassle.

I have never been a reader of Shakespeare's work nor known that this was his' work until I browsed IMDB for details. My first thought before watching this movie was like harry Potter epic movie in which later I only find weird people talking Shakespearean Language all over the movie which is not good for me BUT, on the contrary, I find this movie real good although hard to comprehend because I haven't read to original piece and to tell you that the story is somewhat changed so I can't really tell you the difference.

Overall, although the story is a bit confusing and boring at first, the movie is watchable, nice and well...uuh how am i gonna say this, well said?

I don't know but I kind of like this movie for its cool way to say words and maybe that's how this movie get its 'Comedy' genre huh?

That's What I am (2011)

That's What I am by Michael Pavone is a Coming of Age movie...that's what they say it is in which I can just simply say that this one is a Drama by which I shouldn't be watching but I've watched it anyway. That's What i am Features a life of a teenage boy making his way throughout eighth grade. This movie kind of resembles Diary of a Wimpy Kid but not really, this movie is more serious.

The movie amuses in a sense that I've learned something about what an American Kid would be like as a Kid et cetera. This movie offers three story overall, the story of Mr. Simon, Stanley and Andy, by which Mr. Simon's story is a little...you know, frustrating in a sense that the parents are being sexist by which it drives me nuts and by the way why is Randy Orton on the movie?

Overall, the movie was great, I actually do not know how to rate this but I think I'll just give it a four...no five, damn it! Hehe like I said, movies like these are not actually not my type but hey, This movie is great I think you should watch this...sort of. By the way, I happen to like the story and the outcome, t'was nice. The movie is not based on true story but the lessons are meaningful. I somehow find this movie somewhat sad for how junior kids faces their everyday living as a student, bullying and stuff but hey I think those bullying stuffs what makes Middle school exciting right?....right?

Attack the Block (2011)

Attack the Block. Seriously? From the Director of Shaun of the Dead? Well, to tell you people directly, I basically didn't like the movie that much and why did all these things coming down from the sky? For the movie poster, I got all hyped up the moment I saw the poster it was like, matrix, sci-fi outer space movie like Inception or Sunshine but ITS NOT.

I was totally bored the entire movie and actually the movie is not so really entertaining. And I rather watch Ben 10 to see these creatures in action...huh? So these creatures are not from Ben 10?

Bottom line, I've expected too much from this movie. The movie leaves me questions in the end. The movie ended prematurely and was that even an ending? Its more like a cut then bang the end no sign of happy or bad ending as if you're withdrawing at the moment of the climax, get the picture? Also, the Gangs and stuffs put me off the movie completely.

Friends with Benefits (2011)

Friends with Benefits by Will Gluck is a Comedy-Romantic drama movie starring Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake in a story where Dylan and Jamie experimented with their friendship by adding sex in it soon found themselves that they want more than just sex.

My thoughts on this movie was like It's going to be a No Strings Attached movie, the only difference is just that the casts are hotter, and then again I was wrong, Friends with Benefits is not like No Strings Attached...well kind of. You see, in comparison, both gave really good story but if we're going to check on the contents I'd say lets go for this movie, Friends with Benefits. The sex scenes are just right nothing to be worried about for mostly the movie centers at the story not on the happy part.

Overall, a really great movie, unique and I really enjoyed watching it.

Limitless (2011)

Limitless by Neil Burger, at first I thought was a movie of people with Superpowers but I guess I as wrong. This movie, the moment it started and for the first 10 minutes everything was boring. I'd best say that this movie was unfulfilling, crappy and dull. The way the movie is being narrated is dull, and I was lucky Ihave abreado nmy hand to eat out or else I would have walked out of the theathre.

Bottom line, the movie is a about people who use Drugs to get things done, a pill that enhances brain activity at 100% capacity; well that is nifty! No biggie here but for me, the movie supposedly be better and all hyped up if they only made the narration more lively and exciting.. As i perceived, I really liked the story, a brain pill? How I wished that they could've expand and made the narration much better no?

Honestly, I kind of want to have those pills for myself, think of the possibilities huh?
